Pair remanded charged with robbery after vehicle stolen – Iver

Two men have been remanded in custody charged with robbery following an incident in Iver where a vehicle was stolen.

Martin Cawley, 18, of High Street, Sutton Benger, Chippenham, and 20-year-old Patrick Power, of Linsdon Close, Wembley, were arrested on Monday 16 May and charged with robbery and other offences on Wednesday 18 May.

The robbery charge is in connection with an incident in Wellesley Avenue, Iver, which happened at around 1.45pm on Tuesday 12 May.

Cawley is also charged with six counts of burglary in connection with incidents outside of the Thames Valley area, including four offences in Hertfordshire.

Patrick is charged with four counts of burglary in connection with incidents in Hertfordshire.

The pair is also jointly charged with going equipped to steal.

Both men appeared before Hatfield Remand Court on Thursday (19/5) where they were remanded in custody

They will appear before St Albans Crown Court on 16 June 2016.
