Warwickshire Police is investigating a collision which happened in Nuneaton on the morning of Tuesday 7 June.

The collision happened in Church Street just before 11am and involved a 75-year-old female pedestrian and a blue Volkswagen Jetta.

The woman was taken by ambulance to the George Eliot Hospital as a precaution.

The car driver, a 92-year-old man, was not injured.

Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it or saw either the car or the woman before the collision occurred.
