Arrests made after police pursuit in Northfleet

A man and woman have been arrested and charged after a car reportedly failed to stop for police in Northfleet.

Officers tactically stopped the vehicle in Thames Way, Northfleet, at about 3am on Saturday 11 June 2016.

Charges

Lee Sales, 31, of Leicester Gardens, Sheerness, has since been charged with dangerous driving, possession of an offensive weapon (a knuckleduster), possession of a knife, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.

He has been remanded in custody to appear before Medway magistrates on Monday 13 June 2016

Sarah Dove, 30, of Stockdale Gardens, Deal, has been charged with creating a danger to road users by causing glass bottles to be on the carriageway.

She has been bailed to appear before Medway magistrates on Tuesday 19 July 2016.
