Two men injured in collision in Woore, Shropshire

Two men have been injured in a collision in Woore, Shropshire.

The collision happened at about10.15am yesterday, Wednesday 15 June on the A525 in Woore, Shropshire and involved a grey Peugeot 206 and a white Daf lorry.

The Peugeot was travelling towards Audlum and the lorry was travelling towards Woore.

The driver of the Peugeot, a man in his twenties, was taken to the North Staffordshire Hospital with serious injuries including a suspected fractured pelvis.

The lorry driver, a man in his fifties, was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital with minor head injuries.

Police investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it or saw either vehicle, and the manner in which they were being driven, before the collision occurred.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident 183S of 15 June.
