Woman seriously injured in collision with bus – Blackpool
A WOMAN was seriously injured after she was involved in a collision with a bus in Blackpool.
The incident happened at shortly after 5.20pm yesterday (Friday, June 17th) when the 35 year old local woman was struck by the pass at the junction of Lytham Road and Horncliffe Road.
She suffered serious head injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Royal Preston Hospital where she remains in a serious condition.
The road was closed for three hours for accident investigation.
Sgt Finn Quainton, of the Road Policing Unit, said: “This incident has left a woman with serious injuries and I would appeal to anyone who saw the collision, or the woman in the moments before, to get in touch.”
