Appeal following serious collision, Ruislip

Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision in Ruislip left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.

Officers were called at approximately 16:05hrs on Wednesday, 17 August to reports of a car in collision with a motorcycle in Lime Grove, at the junction with Elm Avenue, Ruislip.

London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance also attended and the rider of the motorcycle, a 47-year-old man, was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are described as life threatening.

Next of kin have been informed.

The car – a white Lexus – stopped at the scene. There have been no arrests.
