Non-stop road traffic collision in Northampton on Saturday

A pedestrian was injured in a collision in Northampton, early on Saturday, 27 August.

The collision took place on Victoria Promenade, between the Morrisons roundabout and the junction with Bedford Road, Cheyne Walk and Derngate.

The vehicle involved in the collision, which took place at about 4.20am, left the scene without stopping.

Officers would like to speak to any witnesses of the incident, in particular the driver of a dark coloured VW Passat who may have witnessed the collision.

The pedestrian was taken to Northampton General Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
