Police appeal for witness following fatal collision, A38, Bromsgrove

West Mercia Police is investigating a fatal collision which happened on the A38 yesterday afternoon (Monday, 29 August 2016).

The collision happened at about 2:30pm north bound between Lydiate Ash and Rubery and involved a Honda Fireblade motorcycle and grey Honda Civic.

Emergency services attended to the motorcyclist, but sadly he died at the scene. The next of kin have yet to be informed.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision and can help establish the events leading up to it.

* A 48 year-old man from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving, He has been released on police bail until 8 October 2016.
