1 min read

A man tried to pelt a cyclist with an egg as he was heading home on his bike in Kettering.

The victim was turning into Linden Avenue, from Pipers Hill, between 5pm and 5.30pm on Saturday, October 1. As he reached Linden Close a car slowed down and the driver threw an egg out of the window, narrowly missing the cyclist.

The car was possibly a Citroen C1 or C2 with a registration that may have started KY56 or KY06. The only description of the offender is that he was white, with a goatee beard and he was wearing a cap.

Anyone with information can contact Northamptonshire police on 101. Alternatively, they can call the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
