Fatal collision in Ravenstone – Woman named

A woman who died after a collision in Ravenstone has been named.

Emergency services were called to the A447 Wash Lane at around 3.20pm on Wednesday 7 December following reports of a collision involving a grey Ford Fiesta and a silver coloured transit van.

A passenger in the Fiesta, 89-year-old Betty Watson from Coalville, Leicestershire, was taken to hospital but subsequently died.
